Mary Louise Chapman Evans, age 89 of the Possumtrot community, died Friday, June 8, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center. Mrs. Evans was a native of Possumtrot, and she was the daughter of the late Dave and Mary Roberts Chapman. She was a homemaker and member of the Hardin Chapel Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jimmy Evans, daughter, Carol Evans Archer, brother, Jeff Chapman, and sister, Anna Laura Rasberry. She is survived by her son, Steve (Peggy) Evans of the Berlin Community, grandchildren, John Evans, Michael Archer, Ashley Archer, Mary Beth Neece, Troy Gibson, Shaun Arndt, and Nelly Neece. Thirteen nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
