Mrs. Shelva Dean Brown Hickerson, age 77 of the Ostella Community near Cornersville, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in Marshall Medical Center. Mrs. Hickerson was a native of Spring Hill, Tennessee born December 28, 1940 daughter of Roy Thomas and Ollie Madalene Lovett Brown. She was a homemaker and member of the Westvue Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, Joe Hickerson, and, one brother. She is survived by two daughters, Susan (Mike) Whitehead of Lewisburg, and Jolie (Roger) Richardson of Shelbyville, two sons, Dwight Hickerson of Sparta, and Kyle (Merry) Hickerson of Murfreesboro, two sisters, seven grandchildren, Logan Hickerson, Bryan Whitehead, Travis, Justin, and Caleb Richardson, Jessie Hickerson, and Kylie Whitehead, and one great grandchild, Parker Hickerson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 27, 2018 from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 pm and will continue on Thursday from noon until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Westvue Church of Christ Youth Group, 1710 Mooresville Hwy. , Lewisburg, TN 37091.
