Mrs. Mary Hughey Cornell, age 91 of Lewisburg, formerly of Pulaski died Sunday, June 24, 2018 at NHC Lewisburg. Mrs. Cornell was a native of Giles County, and she was the daughter of the late John Hensley and Mary Ezell Hughey. She was a member of the Methodist church.

She is survived by three nieces, Kathy (Phil) Perry of Bowling Green, KY, Linda (Dick) Middlecoff of Memphis, and Marsha (Billy) Coble of Lewisburg, three nephews, Eddie (Jackie) Abernathy of Lewisburg, Jimmy (Ann) Hughey of Rogersville, AL, and Mike (Tina) Hughey of Nashville. Several great and great great nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in Maplewood cemetery in Pulaski, TN.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Lewisburg First United Methodist Church, 325 West Church St., Lewisburg, TN, 37091.
