Robert Elkin “Bob” Barmore, Jr., 84, husband of Charlotte Irby Barmore, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2018 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, January 12, 1934, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Eva McColumn Barmore. He formerly owned the Army Store in Greenwood and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Bob was predeceased by Gwen Laucis, his daughter in 2016 and James A. Barmore, Sr., his brother, in 2011. Gadd and grandson, Scott and wife Ashleigh Gadd, all of Charlotte and son-in-law, William “Bill” Laucis of Greenwood. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.

Blake Kendrick and Dr. J. William Harris officiating. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 Saturday afternoon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Mission Plan, 722 Grace Street, Greenwood, SC 29649.
