Robert E. “Bobby” Cooley, age 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 in a local hospital. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Leonard, Quenton, Clarence and Thomas Bowman. Bobby loved to work and he worked all of his life.

He retired from Mueller Corporation after 30 years of service. He loved the outdoors including fishing, gardening and working in his yard. Most of all he enjoyed helping people.

He was a loving husband to his wife Fay and he attended the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Fay Glover Cooley of Cleveland, his sisters, Olena Shoulders of Rossville, Georgia, Sarah Ann Childress of Sparta, Tennessee, his brother, Sam Kelly Bowman of Pikeville, Tennessee, his dogs, “Patch” and “Belle”, his cats, “Kit Kat” and “Mr. Kitty”, neighbors and friends and several nieces and nephews also survive. The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Friday, March 29, 2019 at 2:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend Lake Walker officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as casket bearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P. M. Thursday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements. You may share your condolences and your memories with the Cooley family at www.
