Robert’s Obituary Kenney, Robert E. 60, of Groton died Saturday morning February 23, 2019 at his home in Groton. He was born May 8, 1958 in Rye NY to Donald P and Margaret McGovern Kenney. He graduated from Rye High School in Rye, New York.

Bob married Cynthia Jones and have 3 sons. He worked as a general manager in the hotel industry. He enjoyed rooting for the New York Yankees and playing golf at Shennecossett in Groton.

Besides his wife Cynthia and father Donald, Bob is survived by Sons: Brooks Kenney, Shea Kenney and Reid Kenney; Brothers Donald Kenney, David (Maura) Kenney, Joseph (Amy) Kenney, Brian (Lata) Kenney; Sisters: Eileen (Daniel) Zaccagnino and Susan (Sean) DesRoches. Visitation Thursday February 28, 2019 from 11:00AM until Memorial Service at 12:30PM at the Byles Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames Street in Groton.
