Obituary for Robert F. McQuade, Jr. Robert F. McQuade, Jr., of Souderton, went Home to Heaven to be with his beloved wife on their 64th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at his residence. He was 83. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith Anne (Terrell) McQuade until her death in 2012.

Born in Bronx, New York, New York, he was the son of the late Robert Franklin, Sr. and Virginia Augusta (King) McQuade. Mr. McQuade was a U. S. Navy veteran. He was the CEO of the Telecommunication Industry Forum, retiring in 1998.

Bob had a passion for hummingbirds, feeding, painting, and watching them, while enjoying the sun’s renewing warmth. He also enjoyed a good poker game, the television show, “Blue Bloods,” dining out in area restaurants, and cruising around in his Mercedes. He also loved spending time with his family.

As noted by his loved ones, Bob was “the Best Dad Ever… hands down…no competition…the end”. Mr. McQuade is survived by his four children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his beloved companion, “Baxter,” who watched over him until he went to bed as if it were his job. All services will be private.
