Obituary for Robert Gene Deering Robert Gene Deering, age 80 of White Pine, passed away at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center on Friday, June 22, 2018. He was a member of Beth-Car United Methodist Church, Gene was a 32nd degree mason and a member of Leadvale Lodge #390 F&AM, He was retired from American Enka after 42 years of service and a 60 year member of White Pine Lions Club. Gene is preceded in death by his parents, George and Anna Fowler Deering, sisters, Fern Bible and Marjorie White and brother George Deering.

He is survived by his siblings: brother, Ben (Clara) Deering, sister Betty (Doyle) Alexander and brother John Deering, also several nieces, nephews, other family members and several special friends. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations be made to Beth-Car United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 597, White Pine, TN 37890. Funeral Service with Masonic Rites will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018, 7:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, with the Rev.

Darrell Chambers, Rev. Fred Lehrer and Leadvale Lodge #390 officiating, family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment will be on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, 11:00am in White Pine Cemetery.
