Robert’s Obituary ROBERT GLENN EATON, 70, of Max Meadows, VA, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019. He was born January 3, 1949 at Bland, VA, the son of Joe Hoge & Maxine Burroughs Eaton. A Harley Davidson enthusiast, he enjoyed working and riding and was considered a jack of all trades, master of none.

He was known for his honesty and his ability to say what was on his mind. He was a member of the Bland Lodge #206 AF & AM and served as a past Master of Lodge in 1984-86. He loved his family, especially his children, and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Hoge Eaton, and two sisters, Jean Hoge Eaton and Linda Earls. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Maxine Burroughs Eaton; sons & daughters-in-law, Glenn & Lisa Eaton and Jake & Stevie Eaton; his daughter, Amber Eaton; his grandchildren, Zach & Lindsay Eaton and Hudson Eaton; his great-grandson, Jaxton Eaton; his brother, Jerry Eaton; his brother-in-law, Phillip Earls; special friend, Terry Wilson; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members, too many to list. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Rev.

Dr. Kevin Richardson officiating. Masonic Rites will be provided by Bland Lodge #206 AF & AM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until service time, 7:00 P.M. Per his wishes, Bobby has been cremated.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in his honor to the Bland County Rescue Squad, 67 Orchard View Ln. , Bland, VA 24315. The Eaton family is in the care of A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, avestandsons.
