A funeral service will be celebrated by Deacon Michael A. Kocjancic at 3:00 pm Saturday at Fox Funeral Home for Robert M. Hart, 66, of Boardman who passed away Monday at his home. Robert was born July 1, 1952 in Youngstown, a son of John and Ellen Mahan Hart. A 1970 Boardman High School graduate, he worked for many years as a sorter in the post office.

In his spare-time he enjoyed coaching Little League. He loved spending St. Patrick’s Day, his favorite holiday, with all his siblings and friends. Robert was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Notre Dame football.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Ellen Hart, his sons Eric Hart of Washingtonville and Robert (Rebecca) Hart of Garden City, SC; grandchildren Isabella Hart, Connor Hart, Morgan Hart and Joshua Bryan; and siblings John “Jack” Hart, Thomas (Jodie) Hart, Karen (Jay) Gresh, Kathleen (Craig) Weaver, Michael (Sue) Hart, Brian Hart, and Richard Hart (Lisa Abraham). Robert is preceded in death by his father John Hart. Friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday at Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market Street, Boardman.
