There will be a Mass of Christian Burial said on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018 in St. Columba Cathedral at 10am for Richard R. Cipriano, 82 who died at his residence on Saturday morning surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born on April 5, 1936 in Farrell, PA to his parents, Dominick and Victoria Monaco Cipriano.

He was a 1954 Farrell High School graduate and member of St. Columba Parish and KofC Council. While working at Sharon Steel he was employed as a mail clerk and as an orders taker. During his retirement he worked for Scrappers Field and as a Security Officer.

As a follower of sports, he played golf at Briarfield Country Club and enjoyed his bowling league. He was known as a world traveler and travelled to 48 out of the 50 US states. Rich leaves his wife, the former Giovanna Baglieri whom he married Dec.

3, 1977; his daughters, Maureen, Teresa, and Mariam Cipriano; and son Dominic Cipriano. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Andy, Mike, Donald, and Bill Cipriano; and sister, Adeline Nash. Family and friends may call from 4-8pm on Wed in Schiavone Funeral Home followed by a prayer service to follow at 8pm.

Entombment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
