Robert Henry Fray, age 95, passed away peacefully at home of natural causes on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. A native of New Orleans, LA, he was a practicing attorney-at-law in Jefferson Parish, LA for over 50 years after earning a law degree from Loyola University in 1951 and subsequently was awarded a Juris Doctorate. He was married to Mae Tabachnick Fray, native of Manchester, New Hampshire, his beloved wife for 49 years until she passed away on August 24, 1995.

Loving father of Sharon Mae Fray Ramirez (William) of Jacksonville, FL, Ida Jane Fray Milazzo of Metairie, LA (Richard), Diane Carol Fray Tittle of Harahan, LA and Roberta Ann Fray Power (Gary) of River Ridge, LA. He is also survived and fondly remembered by his grandchildren Emily Agnes Fray Ramirez Hernandez (Eugenio), George Fray Ramirez, Robert Butler Ramirez, Rebecca Lynn Milazzo, Rachael Nicole Tittle, Robert Michael Power and Ashley Elizabeth Power and a host of nieces and nephews. Son of the late Mary (Mae) Hepburn Fray and William Herman Fray, both natives of New Orleans, LA.

Brother to his twin, Ralph Thomas Fray of Gretna, LA and the late Barbara Eleanor Fray of Metairie, LA, William George Fray of Seattle, WA and Alvin Joseph Fray of Downey, CA. Robert was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Corp, during the Second World War, having served as a Mess Sergeant in the Azores. He will be greatly missed by his family.
