Robert’s Obituary A gathering of family and friends of Robert James Jorgenson, 88, of Embarrass, will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 from 12noon-2pm at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Inurnment will be in the Embarrass Cemetery. Robert died Monday, February 11, 2019 at his residence.

He was born March 5, 1930 in Grand Forks, ND to George and Cora Jorgenson. Robert was a graduate of East Grand Forks High School and farmed near Oklee, MN. He was drafted into the US Army and served from 1952-1954 in Germany during the Korean Conflict.

On October 27, 1956 he married Joyce Magnussen in Gonvick, MN. Robert worked as a mechanic at Erie Mining Company and retired from LTV Steel with 31 years of service. He was a member of Steelworkers Union #4108.

Survivors include three children: Judy (Roger) Osborne of Stewartville, Debra (Butch) Pintar of Nashwauk, and Lori (George) Nutt of Pine City; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy; wife, Joyce and eight siblings.
