Sherry’s Obituary Sherry Marie Pike, 71, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her home in rural south Eveleth. She was born March 15, 1947 in Biwabik, Minnesota to John and Mary (Janezich) Noson. Sherry grew up in Aurora and graduated from Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School in 1965.

She later attended classes at Eveleth Vocational Technical Institute. On April 14, 1998 she married David A. Pike. Sherry worked as a nurse’s aide, medical transcriptionist, and most recently as Office Manager at Vivid Design in Aurora.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and loved living in the country with her husband and two cats. Survivors include her husband, David; mother, Mary Noson of Chisholm; sisters Reneé (Bill) Putnam of Rochester and Connie (David) Lee of Hibbing; sister-in-law, Diane Vukovich of Anchorage, AK; former husband James Hofsommer of Markham; children Christina (Scott) Rolando of Aurora, David (Amy Lanala) Hofsommer of Gilbert, Daniel (Christina Lindbeck) Hofsommer of Markham, Lynda (Aaron) Stolhammer of Bemidji and James (Coleen) Hofsommer Jr. of Markham; grandchildren — Jesse (Katey), James, Jenna, Janey, Julia and Josey Stolhammer; great-grandchild, Caspian Stolhammer and his soon-to-be-born sister Rowen; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, John Noson; and mother-in-law, Margaret Pike.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Ziemer- Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Visitation will be one hour prior.
