Robert John Pruett, age 88, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at his residence. He was born on October 8, 1930 in Buncombe County, NC to the late Lee P. and Lannie Mae Goldsmith Pruett. Robert worked as a carpenter building houses for Union Hall Houses in Baltimore, MD.

He was predeceased by his brother, Lee P. Pruett Jr. of Swannanoa. Robert is survived by his sisters, Irene Metcalf and Lois Bertrum, both of Carrollton, GA. There will be a graveside service held at 10am, Friday, February 22, 2019 at Mountain View Memorial Park in Black Mountain, NC.
