Robert’s Obituary CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO Robert J. Koch, age 88, born October 27, 1930, passed away Saturday January 19, 2019 at his residence in Buckeye Lake, surrounded by his loving family. Bob was a long time member of St. Patrick Church, born and raised in the parish. He attended St. Patrick grade school and St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Class of 1949.

He retired from Federated Dept. Stores, Gold Circle Division in 1988 after 34 years of service. He was Vice President of Planning and Construction.

Bob also owned Crimson and Clover Restaurant and The German Village Pub in Columbus. After retirement he founded Dell Fixtures and served as President and CEO until his retirement in 1988. Bob was a longtime member of the Shamrock Club of Columbus and AMVETS #51 in Thornville, and was a U.S. Air Force Reserve Veteran.

Preceded in death by his sons Jimmy and Tommy Koch. Survived by his best friend and bride of 68 years, Mary “Dell” Howell Koch; children Mike (Peggy), Don (Pam), Julie (Rich) Clemons, Mary (Laura), Joe; daughter-in-law Valerie; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. Friends received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8pm at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High St. Mass of Christian Burial 10am Thursday at St. Patrick Church, 280 N. Grant Ave.

Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
