Janet C. Rigelman, 83, of Powell, OH passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Willowbrook Christian Home. Jan was born in Columbus, OH on September 3, 1935 to the late Howard and Helen (Lee) Crossman. She was employed by the Columbus Area City Council of Churches, Columbus Public Schools, Chemical Abstracts and Saginaw Valley State College in Saginaw, MI.

Jan was a member of the Fourth Avenue Christian Church, and The American Contract Bridge League, where she attained the rank of Bronze Life Master. She volunteered her time for the Dublin Senior Citizen’s Center as Librarian, amongst many other volunteering activities. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers; Walter, Harold and Robert Crossman and one sister; Evelyn Mauch.

Surviving are her husband; Jerry Warren Rigelman of Powell, OH, son; Frank B. Griffin of Upper Arlington, OH, daughter; Cindy (Sam) Bilbrey of Marysville, OH, three grandsons; Damian Bilbrey, Bryan and Brandon Griffin; one granddaughter; Tara Bilbrey, two great grandsons; Jace and Raiden Bilbrey, sister; Velma Obert, and many loving nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME at Powell, 450 W. Olentangy Street Powell, OH 43065 from 5-8 PM and on Wednesday January 30th 11:00 AM until the time of service at noon; Pastor Ken Slenkovich, presiding.
