Robert L. Sarver, 69, of Milan, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Unitypoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Services for Mr. Sarver will be 11 am, Monday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 9 am to 11 am, Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island where military honors will be conducted by the Milan American Legion, Post 569. Robert was born on November 30, 1949 in Joliet, Illinois, the son of Leo and Elizabeth (Steggs) Sarver. He married Debra Lampe on September 9, 1985 in Rock Island.

Bob worked as an assembler at Case International for 30 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Milan American Legion Post No. 569 and served as a member of the Honor Guard.

Earlier he enjoyed racing stock cars and later slot cars. Bob also enjoyed watching the WWE. Bob was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Debra; children, Kelly (Bill) Bolio, East Moline, Shelley Sarver, Colona and Mindy Olsen, Milan; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Randy Sarver, Milan; and a special niece, Janice Hill. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Terry and Pete Sarver.
