Robert Lee Love, 91, of Griffin Drive, Locust, NC passed away Saturday, March 2, at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis, NC. He was born July 11, 1927 in Cabarrus County to the late Robert Polk and the late Iola Little Womble. Robert was educated in the Cabarrus County School System and was a Self Employed Farmer.

He was a member Ebenezer AME Zion Church where he previously served on the Trustee Board. Services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Ebenezer AME Zion Church, 12100 Jim Sossomon Rd, Midland, NC. Visitation will be at 1:00 – 2:00 PM with funeral services following at 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Eldora Ester Love Love; one sister, Mary Nixon and two brothers, Gene Love and Hayes Love. Those left to cherish fond memories include six sons, Robert A. Love (Sharon) of Atlanta, GA, Elmer Love of Charlotte, NC, Roger Love (Ada) of Virginia, Ronald Love (Faye) of Stanfield, NC, Sedrick Love of Locust, NC, Timothy Love (Vera) of Rock Hill, SC; two daughters, Shelia Love of Concord, NC and Melva Love Hart (Gerald) of Atlanta, GA and a host of cousins and friends.
