Obituary for Robert Lee Todd Robert Lee “Bobby” Todd, age 78, of Philadelphia, dearly loved brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, April 15, 2018. A retired sheet metal worker, he was of the Mountain Baptist faith. A resident of Roane County for over 30 years, he is loved and will be long remembered for his compassion, triumphant sprit and loyalty to all who held the honor of “friend”.

Survivors include his daughter: Tina Schuver, of New York, sister: Linda Taylor, of Philadelphia, brother: Edgel “Bill” Alverson and wife: Reba Alverson, both of Montross, VA, grandchildren: Wayne, Ryan, Mark, and Charlotte, seven nieces and nephews, special friend: Darren Vandergriff and pet companions: Katie and JoJo. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents: C.T. Todd and Edna Lee Geddie and the love of his life: Virginia Williams Sharp. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 P.M. in Kyker’s Chapel with Jimmy Russell officiating.
