OBITUARY Robert Louis Blaze August 16, 1933 – November 28, 2018 Robert Louis Blaze, 85, went to his heavenly home on November 28, 2018. Born on August 16, 1933 in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Ludwig and Vivian Blaze. Robert attended St. Peter’s Catholic School.

He was a beloved consumer at the Babcock Center and an avid lover of the Christmas season. He kept Christmas trees up and celebrated the holiday all year long. His surviving family includes his brothers and sister, Louie J. Blaze (Barbara), Thomas Blaze (Terry), and Christine King (Ted), as well as numerous nieces and nephews who lovingly knew him as “Uncle Bob”.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Babcock Center Foundation, P.O. Box 4389, West Columbia, SC 29171. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, is assisting the family.
