Bristol, Va. Robert Marion Craig, Jr, was born January 29, 1947 and passed on July 17, 2018. Bob was born in Greenville, S.C.

He graduated in 1965 from Port St. Joe High School in Port St. Joe, Fla. He played football at Clemson University and graduated from Clemson in 1969. In 1973, Bob discovered the Appalachian region and fell in love with its natural beauty.

He made his home in the Bristol, Tenn. /Va. area for the remainder of his life.

Bob loved to read, he loved… Read More » music, and he loved contact sports. He will be remembered always as a quiet scholar, a gentleman, and a little bit of a wild horse rider. Bob is survived by his wife, Carolyn; four daughters: Cassie, Dorothy, Mary Haynes, and Marion; four grandchildren: Grace, Gabriel, Ryder and Magnolia; and one great-grandchild, Anna Claire.
