Obituary for Robert O. Morris Robert O. Morris, 75, of Owensboro went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 23, 2018, with family by his side. Robert was born September 28, 1943. He was an adoring husband, a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a devoted Christian.

Robert worked for Owensboro Sanitation Department for 20 years and retired in 1998. He worked odd jobs afterward until finally retiring completely in 2004. He loved spending time with family and reading his bible.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Nancy Morris: three sons, Robert Morris, Sam (Trina) Morris and Jason (Michelle) Morris; two daughters, Racheal (John) Harris and Rebecca (Jeff) Parish; a sister, Dianna (Everett); 15 grandkids; and 11 great grandkids. Per Robert’s wishes, there will be no funeral service, only a small celebration of life for his immediate family. Furthermore, his body is to be donated to the Genesis Legacy program to help the Medical Education & Research Institute (MERI) fight the horrible Alzheimer’s disease.
