Obituary for David “Long Beard” Earl Johnson David “Long Beard” Earl Johnson, 58, of Owensboro passed away on Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. David was born on March 10, 1960, in Island, Kentucky to the late Jack and Lillian Penrod Johnson.

He was a member of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed gardening and making various things out of wood. He also was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jackie and Jimmy Johnson.

He is survived by his son, Dustin Ray Johnson of Louisville, five brothers, Donnie (Sharon) Johnson of Island, Gary (Patty) Johnson of Livermore, Terry Johnson, Randall Johnson, and Timmy (Amanda) Johnson all of Owensboro; and numerous nieces and nephews many Services will be held at a later date.
