Saldivar Sr. age 78, went home to be with the Lord Saturday December 29, 2018. He was a lifetime resident of Harlingen and retired from Valley Bottle Water Company. He was a very humble and respectful man.

He loved his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Teodoro Saldivar and Santanita Mares and a brother, Jose G. Saldivar. Mr. Saldivar is survived by his children, Jorge Luis Saldivar, Roberto Saldivar (Veronica), Sergio Saldivar (Brandi), Adan Saldivar, Cristina Saldivar (Cruz Gutierrez), stepdaughter, Maria Saldivar and step son, Juan Saldivar, brothers, Jose E. Lerma and Pedro Villarreal and sister, San Juanita Mares.

Robert Saldivar Jr. would like to thank his Father for all the help He did for him. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2019 from 1 pm to 9pm with a prayer of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7 pm Wednesday evening. Holy Mass of Funeral Liturgy will be held Thursday January 3, 2019 at 10 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Commital Service will follow to Harlingen-Combes Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home, 1002 East Harrison Ave. Harlingen, Texas 78550.
