Robert E. Holmes, 47, of Easton, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, with many of his family and friends by his side. Born September 1, 1971 in Easton, PA, he was the son of Pearl Holmes, of Easton, and Robert Rogers, of Easton. Robert was a 1991 graduate of Easton Area High School and attended Northampton Community College.

He had a personality larger than life. Robert was everyone’s rock and you could always count on him for anything. Robert loved riding his motorcycle, playing sports, being with his family and friends, and took great joy in spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Nichole and Kyra Holmes, both of Easton; brothers, David Holmes and his wife Darlene, and Ray Holmes, both of Easton, Richard Holmes and his wife Diane, of Bethlehem, Seneca Rogers and his wife Meghan and Matt Rogers, both of Easton, Anthony Rogers, of New Jersey, Terrence Fitzpatrick, Brett Fitzpatrick and Bobby Sims, all of Easton; sisters, Jacqueline Holmes and Lola Lawson, both of Easton, and Ren Campbell; cousin, Jeff Everitt and his wife Brandy, of Easton; three grandchildren, Javier, Ivyana and Ella; best friend, Karen Werkheiser; step-daughter, Kaneesha Holmes, of Easton; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren. Services will be held at 10am Tuesday in Greater Shiloh Church, 403 Pastor Fred Davis Street, Easton. Call Tuesday 9-10am in the church.
