Donna L. Jabeir, 73, of Easton, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 in Gracedale. Born August 1, 1945, in Cape May, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Shirley (Bachman) Daley. Donna and her husband, Joseph J. Jabeir, celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on July 16, 2018.

She graduated from Easton Area High School Class of 1963 and Churchman’s Business College. Donna was founding owner and president of Mothers LTD from 1973-1988. She was the founder and owner of Northwood Deli from 1990-2013.

She had a passion for cooking, enjoyed spending time with family and was an avid reader. Donna loved animals and supported local animal shelters. She was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Barbara Jabeir Ernst, of Forks Township; four grandchildren, Rachel, Maggie, Joseph and Emma; a nephew, Thomas Shortell, of Marlton, NJ; a niece, Michelle Shortell, of Easton; and a sister-in-law, Josie Jabeir, of Forks Township. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph M. Jabeir and a grandson, Michael Jabeir. A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10am Thursday in Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 55 S. 4th St., Easton.

Call Thursday 9-10am in the church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Gethsemane Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough.
