Bradford S. Peters, Sr., 81, of Easton, formerly of Nazareth, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 in Gracedale. Born April 20, 1937 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Dorothy (Swartwood) Peters. He and his wife, Donna L. (LaBarre) Peters, celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary April 21, 2018.

Brad was a 1955 graduate of Nazareth High School where he played saxophone in the marching band. He served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. Brad retired in 1995 from Met-Ed, Portland, where he worked for 40 years.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg. He was also a member of the Met-Ed Retirees group. Brad enjoyed fishing and music.

He played saxophone for the bands Joyous, Troubled Times, Lucky 7, Parke Frankenfield Big Band and played three stints in Europe with the Buzz Jones Big Band. Surviving in addition to his wife, Donna, are a son, Bradford S. Peters, Jr., of East Stroudsburg; three daughters, Sondra Peters, of Nazareth, Nancy Reyes and her husband, Rocky, of Collegeville, PA and Kim Baylor and her husband Doug, of Alpha, NJ; a half -brother, Jeff Peters, of Kempton, PA; seven grandchildren, Chase and Cassie Sadorski, Justin, Alyssa and Kristy Reyes, Ryan and Madison Baylor; former wife, Isabelle A. (Rutt) Peters, of Nazareth and his beloved dog, Buster B. A memorial service will be held 10:30am Saturday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough. Call Saturday 9:30-10:30 in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Offer online condolences at www. strunkfh.com.
