Robin W. Jones, (nee Wiessinger), Kaukauna, age 55, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at home. She was born on January 22, 1963 in Eagle River to Richard and Phyllis (Pifke) Wiessinger. Robin was a UW Whitewater graduate, achieving a Bachelor of Science in Social Work.

She also attained a Masters of Counselor Education from UW Platteville. Robin was a proud parent of a PHD Candidate at UC Berkeley. She enjoyed painting and volunteering at Richeson School of Art and was also employed as a substitute teacher, as a home family therapist and as a social worker and vocational rehab counselor.

Robin was a member of Wausau First United Methodist Church (where she was a member of the choir), and Americorp. Survivors include her husband of 9 years, Daniel Jones, her parents, Richard Wiessinger and Phyllis (Pifke) Schmidt, her step father, Harry Schmidt, a son, Robinson Flaig and his girlfriend, Erin Sullivan, her step daughter, Alexandra Burmeister, her godparents, Jim and Mary Ritzer, a brother, Robert Wiessinger, 2 sisters: Wendy (Scott) Epping and Sally (Tim) Hoganmiller, 2 nephews and a niece. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dorothy Pifke-Magray and Robert Magray and Adolf Pifke, her paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Robert Wiessinger.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Community Bible Church, 101 S. 2nd street in Eagle River with Rev. Dave Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Eagle River Cemetery.
