Roderick C. MacLeod, 98, formerly of Westborough, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Neil C. and Mary (Gray) MacLeod. He was raised and educated in Boston.

During WW II he served with the U. S. Navy attaining the rank of SK 1/c. Rod was employed as a Surveying Engineer. He was a member of Siloam Lodge AF & AM and loved all things Scottish.

Rod is survived by a granddaughter, Carrie Ann Barrette and her husband, Timothy, of Shrewsbury and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Kenneth MacLeod and Dana C. MacLeod who died on July 5. Calling hours are from 9:30 to 10:30 on July 21st with his Celebration of Life service following at 10:30-11 in the Pickering and Son Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.

Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations towards Parkinson’s research in his memory may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
