Roger Dale Smith, 71, died June 2, 2018 at Pine Ridge Health & Rehab in Thomasville. Graveside funeral services celebrating his life will be 1:00PM Saturday June 16, 2018 at Saints Delight Primitive Baptist Church, 4655 Saints Delight Church Road, Kernersville, NC. Roger was born October 10, 1946 in High Point, NC to the late Minnie Lou Bowers and Robah Hassell Smith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Henry Smith. Roger served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1968. Survivors include his daughters, Maria Smith and Tammy Smith; sons, Billy Sellers and Richard Smith; grandchildren, Marissa Smith, Jon Sellers, Shelly Sellers, Marie Branton, Dustin Smith, Ozzy Duke and Chloe Duke; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Mae Culler, Carol Woods and Laura Long; brother, Ronnie Smith and numerous extended family members.
