Obituary for Roland Harold Baxter Mr. Roland Harold Baxter, 82 of Moss Point, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Aug.

8, 1936 in Deer Park, AL to Willie H. and Rebecca A. Baxter. He had a love for his family like no other. He always worked to make sure his family was well taken care of.

Mr. Baxter enjoyed finding new ways to make money. He enjoyed tending to cattle, and many other animals. He loved his dog as much as his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Harold Baxter, and 12 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Josie Hyatt Baxter, his children, James (Michelle) Baxter, Margie (Pete) James, Lori Weeks, and Keith (Jennifer) Baxter. Grandchildren, TJ (Amber) Furby, April (Travis) Bond, Amber (Bobby) Cadle, Ashley Boren, Dustin James, Raven James, Kala Smith, Buster Baxter, Kristopher Smith, Dylan Baxter and Daniel Baxter.

Great grandchildren, Ryleigh James, Trinity Sikokis, Ryder Sikokis, Lane Herring, the triplets, Loetta, Hunter, and Breahna Cadle, and his beloved dog, “Little Girl”. Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 from 11 a.m. – 1p.m. at Canaan Assembly of God in Moss Point, MS.

Funeral service will begin at 1p.m. from the church sanctuary with Rev. Rodney Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at 4p.m. at Oakwaukee Cemetery in Deer Park, AL.
