Obituary for Ronald “Digger” Keith Jones Ronnie “Digger” Jones, 60, of Rutledge, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. He was saved at a early age and joined New Blackwell Baptist Church. He worked for 21 years for Jefferson City Public works, where he had an extended work family that he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Jones; mother, Shelby Jones; aunt, Marie Lakins of Indiana; and uncles, Wayne Turley of Rutledge and Dennis Turley of New Market. He is survived by his ward, Blake Long; brother, Timmy (Diane) Jones of Bean Station; sister, Sandra Jones of Rutledge; nephews, Derrick (Dina) Jones, Brandon (Brantley) Jones, and Jeffery (Breanna) Jones of Knoxville; great-nephew, Trevor; great-nieces, Shelby, Madison and Charliegh; uncles, Dean (Marlean) Turley of Rutledge and Kenny Turley ofJefferson City; and several cousins. Funeral service 10:00 AM Monday, July 16, 2018 at New Blackwell Baptist Church with Rev.

Ronald Winstead and Rev. Gary Satterfield officiating. Interment to immediately follow in New Blackwell Cemetery.
