Obituary for Maxine Fountain Maxine Brimer Fountain, age 88 of New Market, passed away on July 6. Born in the Muddy Creek Community of Dandridge, Maxine was a graduate of New Market High School and the Tennessee School of Beauty, and was the owner of Maxine’s Beauty Shop. Member of New Market Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her mother, Dora V. Brimer, and granddaughter, Amy Stapleton. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Maxine is survived by her husband of 63 years, L.A. “Flick” Fountain; son, Johnny Kris Fountain; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and David Stapleton; grandchildren, Michelle and Cleve Minor and Matt and Jamie Stapleton, great grandchildren Parker, Sydney and Colton Minor. Funeral service 7:00 PM Monday, July 9, 2018, at New Market Baptist Church with Dr. J.W. Taylor officiating.

Interment 11:00 AM Tuesday in New Market Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
