Obituary for Mildred Lucille Cunningham Mildred “Lucy” Lucille Cunningham, age 89, of New Market, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018. She was a life-long member of Young’s Memorial AME Zion Church, where she was on the Usher Board. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Loy Cunningham Jr.; son Sanford Cunningham; parents, Beatrice and Edward Jackson; sisters, Phyllis Jackson and Frances Kyle; and brother, James Jackson.

She is survived by her daughters, Helen Whitman and Beatrice “James” Barron; sons, Wayne and Myirl Cunningham; grandchildren, Sandy Cunningham, Von and Beashauna Whitman, Samara and Ashia Barron; great-grandchildren, Lamar Maddox, Natylee Johnson, Hasani Barron, Treyshawn and Brayden Suter. Funeral service 2:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Young’s Memorial AME Zion Church with Rev. Bernice Osborne officiating.

Interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.
