Fletcher (uncle Ronnie), of Indianapolis, age 85, left this world on February 7th after a lengthy illness to join his wife of more than 50 years, Joyce Juanelle. Ron was the son of Victor and Agnes Fletcher. Ron was a loving dad to his stepson, Keith Terry who preceded him in death.

Uncle Ronnie enjoyed bowling , cards, ceramics and shopping- all things he and his wife enjoyed together. He was an Air Force veteran, serving four years. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force he held various jobs before he hired on at Kroger in the distribution center.

He retired in 1998 after more than 40 years of service. Ronnie was a Freemason, earning his 32nd degree. He was also a member of Scottish Rite.

At one point in time he was even a member of the Eastern Star. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. He was closest to the nieces that live in and around Indianapolis, Becky VanDevander, Debi Jolliffe, Jacque Shepherd and LeAnna (Teena) Winters.

They spent many hours with him and Debi became his caregiver during the last few months of his life. Ronnie will be greatly missed by his adopted nephew, Richard Kernodle, who was a great help to Uncle Ronnie. Richard took care of Uncle Ronnie’s yard and snow removal without being asked.

He made grocery runs and just checked in on Uncle Ronnie often. Uncle Ronnie was a good man and he will be missed by many. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway chapel at 1 pm.

Friends may call from 11 am until 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis. SERVICES Visitation Friday, February 15, 2019 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel 4925 West 16th.
