Weslaco – Ronald Harold Carter, 79, of Weslaco, passed away on Saturday March 9, 2019 at his residence. He was born on Friday, August 25, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois the son of James and Hertha (Healy) Carter. Mr. Carter was a Veteran of the United States Army.

He was a loving father, husband and friend. He is survived by his children: Rose Guerrero, Christopher Carter, George Carter, Ronald Carter, Jr., Karen Carter and Rogelio Montenegro. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd.

of McAllen. Chapel service will be held at 8:30 am, Friday. March 15, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd.

of McAllen. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission with full military honors. Services have been entrusted to the care of Rivera Funeral Home of McAllen.
