Ronald James Spencer Jr., 68, of Syracuse, passed away on March 14, 2019 after a brief illness. Ronnie was born in Syracuse to Ronald J. Spencer Sr. and Dorothea Barry Spencer. He is survived by his son, Edward “Ned” Spencer, brother Mark Spencer, sister Suzanne (Joe) Getman, three nieces; Lindsay (Jim) Plantholt, Katherine Getman, Lauren Getman, grandnephew, Theodore Plantholt.

Ronnie graduated from Corcoran High School, attended Onondaga Community College and was previously employed with O’Brien& Gere in construction. Ronnie loved the Beatles, drag racing, fast Chevrolets and traveling. His great sense of humor and long-winded story telling will be forever missed at family gatherings.

Services private at the family’s convenience. Contributions may be made to the Samaritan Center, Syracuse, NY.
