Ronald L. Benesh, 82, of Rock Island, died Friday, April 20, 2018 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1- 2 p.m. at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.

Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Ronald was born in Rock Island on October 11, 1935, a son of Andrew and Blanche Benesh. He married Betty Brimberg on April 16, 1955 in Rock Island.

She preceded him in death in 1992. Ronald worked as a printer for the Rock Island Argus and Bawden Printing Company in Eldridge, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed camping and working on stained glass.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Felicia Sevedge, Coal Valley; granddaughter, Jamie (Thomas) Gens, Germantown Hills, Ill. ; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Andrew and Natalie Gens. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, son, Jeff Benesh, grandson, John Starofsky and two sisters, Betty DePaepe and Janice Fox.
