Ronda Sue Houchin, age 62, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away at 2:25 P.M. Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at her home. She was born in Bellefontaine October 27, 1956, to the late Marion Parmer and Doris (Shields) Parmer. On June 6, 1974, she married John K. Houchin and he survives along with their three sons, Jeremy Houchin of Bellefontaine, Jason (Alicia) Houchin of Belle Center, Ohio and Chad Houchin of Rushsylvania, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Jacob (Katelyn), Lance, Garrison, Rayvin, Jetta, Kaci, Tyler Jersey and Gracie; three great grandchildren, Jaxton, Raelyn and Jordyn; three brothers, Jerry (Jeannie) Parmer of Alabama, Dean Parmer and Doug Parmer both of Bellefontaine; three sisters, Anita (Mike) Day, Melanie (Brian) Geboy and Karen Parmer all of Bellefontaine and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronda was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Bellefontaine for many years. Ronda worked at Siemens in Bellefontaine for twenty seven years before retiring from Honda. Ronda loved taking family vacations, her favorite place was in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

She enjoyed quilting, bowling and loved cooking. Her family meant the world to her and was known for having a big heart. Not only did she dedicate her life to her sons and grandchildren, she dedicated her life to raising Jason Robinson and Dustin Postle and many other children.

Ronda had a special bond with Alicia and Karen for all their care and support they have given her and had a life long friendship since her childhood with Patti Fanaff. Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate the funeral service at 2 P.M. Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Bellefontaine Cemetery in Bellefontaine. The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
