Obituary for Rosalie Mae Logue Warren, Pennsylvania – Rosalie Mae Logue, age 78, died on Monday, November 19, 2018 after a brief illness. She was born on May 30, 1940 in Jamestown, New York and became the daughter of Henrietta May (Briggs) and William Arthur Whittington. Rosie graduated from Jamestown High School in 1958 and from Jamestown Licensed Practical Nursing School in 1959.

She worked for the families Hillside Nursing Home in Jamestown, moving on to work at Fenton Park Nursing Home and then for Doctor Rajendra Sood office in Jamestown, retiring in 2002. Rosie was an active member of the Lander Methodist Church and the Lander Volunteer Fire Department. She was also a member of “TOPS” (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly), loved to garden and had a love of cats, especially her “precious”.

Rosie is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, David Whittington and three husbands, Sherwood Staples, Donald Barnhart and Raymond Logue. Survivors include two sisters, Linda Gould of Warren, and Mary Ellen Whittington of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers, Cayton Whittington of Warren and Donald Whittington of Lakewood, New York; three step-daughters, Carlene Pastor, Cheryl Warner and Michelle Frost and six step grandchildren. A celebration of life will be on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Lander Volunteer Fire Department, 4400 Miller Hill Road, Lander, Pennsylvania, put on by both the fire department and the Lander Methodist Church.
