Rosalind’s Obituary Rosalind R. Watson passed away on December 28, 2018, at Valley Hospice in Steubenville, Ohio. She was born on August 13, 1945, in Steubenville, Ohio to the union of the late Frank and Odessa (nee Wilcox) Schaffer. She was educated in Weirton, West Virginia and graduated from Weir High School.

She was a nurse’s aide for Trinity East Hospital and retired after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, a beloved son, Sean C. Watson; and two brothers, James Freeman and Frank “Ronnie” Schaffer. Rosalind is survived and cherished by her family: a devoted husband of 48 years, William C. Watson, Jr.; her dear son, William “Billy” Watson, III and his wife Brandy of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren who she adored, Tamika Noble of Atlanta, Georgia, and Jevon and Tenasia Watson both of Columbus, Ohio; a great-grandson, Will Evans of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of nieces and nephews; one very special friend, Dorothy “Doty” Dalton of Wintersville, Ohio and a host of other relatives.
