Obituary for Rose Marie Bearden Rose Marie Bearden, age 88, of Glen Carbon, Illinois died at 3:15 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville. Rose was an assistant buyer in women’s apparel for Famous & Barr in downtown St. Louis. She was born November 24, 1930, in Madison County the daughter of the late William W & Cecilia (Greenlee) Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bearden. Rose is survived by 2 brothers, William “Bill” Williams & wife Susan of Edwardsville and Robert J. Williams & wife Sherry of Alton; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 1 son, Richard Lee Bearden; 1 sister, Mary Ann Williams Davis; and 1 brother, Lawrence Williams.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.
