Rosemary A. Keim, 83, of Annawan, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2019, at Hammond Henry Hospital, Emergency Room, in Geneseo. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019, at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Atkinson Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Geneseo.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019, from 2:00-4:00 p.m., at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory, Atkinson Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the Annawan/Alba Rescue Unit. Rosemary was born on December 27, 1935, the daughter of James M. and Lillian (Buechler) Resser, in Geneseo, IL.

She graduated from Geneseo High School with the class of 1953, and attended Business College in Chicago for one year. Rosemary was married to Marvin Keim on July 18, 1954, in Annawan, IL. She worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for 20 years, in several departments.

Rosemary loved decorating her home for Christmas, and most loved cooking for and spending time with her family. She enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Valerie (Walter) DePoorter, Moline, and her brother, James Resser, Geneseo.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lynnette Keim (2004), sisters, Judith Russell and Karen Resser, and brother, Dale Resser.
