Rose worked at the Blue Bonnet Café, Five Points Café and the Kerrville State Hospital. Rose enjoyed life to its fullest and spending time with family and friends. She was head strong and stubborn and people loved her for that.

Rose’s passion in life was playing pool and listening to Tejano music. She was preceded in death by her father Andres Sandoval; husband, Jerry Murphy; daughter Joyce Sandoval; brother, Sid Sandoval; and sisters, Josephine Sandoval and Andrea Aleman. Rose is survived by her mother, Sulema Sandoval; children, Fred Duckworth, Ronnie Duckworth, Edward (Valeria) Murphy and Eva Martin; sibling, Sue Butler, Eva (Gerardo) Rivera, Marie Sandoval; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
