He will be dearly missed by his family and extended family the employees and regulars at Richie’s Grill & Café in Winnsboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Claudette; sisters, Willie Mae Hicks, Patricia Derrick; brothers, Edward Metcalf, Robert Metcalf and grandson, Johnathon Johnson. He is survived by, son, Roy Metcalf, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Longview; daughter, Catherine Beets of Gladewater; brother, Billy Metcalf of Lake Charles; sisters, Shirley and her husband Hoot Ryan of Mt.
Pleasant, Doris and her husband John Breeden of Longview, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
