Roy made his journey to the Spirit World on October 26, 2018 at the Regional Health Home Plus Hospice in Rapid City, SD. Roy is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Old Horse, Mabel (Dale) One Horn, Rhoda Janis, and Wilma Old Horse all of Kyle, SD; brothers, Floyd Old Horse and Robert Old Horse both of Kyle, SD; hunka brothers, Myron Heathershaw and Alan Reddy; hunka sister, Bonnie Ghost Bear; and numerous grandchildren.

Roy was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Old Horse, Sr.; mother, Ruth Charging Crow; brother, Oliver Old Horse, Jr.; sister, Constance Old Horse; and nieces, Deanna Reddest and Delana One Horn. Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 5:00 PM, Friday, November 2, 2018 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.
