Rogersville: Ruby Anita Davis, age 88, of Rogersville, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Signature HealthCare of Rogersville after an extended illness. She was a member of Faith Assembly. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Chalmer Lee Davis, parents, Charles and Bessie Williams Stephens; son, Bobby Rogers, grandson, Billy Don Brooks and sister, Judy Rickett.

Survivors include her daughters; Debbie Knight and husband, Gary of Bulls Gap, Carol Jean Lawson and husband, Kenny of Jefferson City; sister, Ann Shephard of Russellville; step daughters, Katherine Ann Kimbrough and husband, Stevie of Morristown, and Kim D. Fields of Rogersville; 2 grandchildren, Dawn Helton and husband, Robbie, Allison Hall and husband, Gordon; a number of step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; special friends, Joe and Janette Steele, Betty and John Eidson and Billy Ray and Patsy Courtney. The family wishes to thank the staff of Signature HealthCare of Rogersville for their concern and care of Ruby. Visitation hours will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Broome Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Billy Ray Courtney officiating. A Private Graveside service will be Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Shanks Family Cemetery.
