Obituary for Ralph Wayne Collins Ralph Wayne Collins, of Rogersville, died Sunday, April 22, 2018, surrounded by his family following a long, extended illness with COPD. He was saved at an early age and was a member of West View Baptist Church. He was employed as an operator and tool room mechanic for 28 years at Rockwell Automation (Dodge) until his retirement.

He liked helping people, sports, and hunting deer and turkeys. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mary Sue Collins. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, M. Louise (Smith) Collins of the home; sisters, Edna Greer of Rogersville, Sandra Long and husband Herbert of Rogersville; sons, Chad Collins and wife Elizabeth, Keith “Kip” Collins and wife Jamie, all of Rogersville; stepdaughters, Tracy Miller and husband Ralph of Telford, and Jamie Lynn Swift and husband Dean of Greeneville; grandchildren, Nicholas Collins, Mason Collins, Dalton Collins, Quaina Miller and husband Alex; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home of Rogersville. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Rex Cole officiating.

Graveside services will be held Thursday at Stipes Cemetery near the drag strip. Those wishing to go in procession are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:00 am. Online condolences may be made at www.
