Obituary for Robert McGinnis Robert “Bob” McGinnis, age 81, of Rogersville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday (5/23/18) at Signature Health Care of Rogersville. He was a member of Persia Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from Reliance Electric and most recently worked for First Community Bank.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorathy Isenberg McGinnis; maternal grandparents, John and Hattie Cameron Isenberg; and paternal grandparents, Walter and Lennie Wolfe McGinnis. He is survived by his wife, Annette Lawson McGinnis; daughters, Sharon Sartain (Tom) and Shirley Helton (Bill, Jr.); grandchildren, Jess Helton (Heather) and Eric Helton (Brianna); great grandchildren, Isaac, Luke, Abram, Elijah, and Jacob Helton; brother-in-law, Dean Lawson (Geraldean), several nieces, nephews and special cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday (5/31/18) at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Eric Helton, Rev. Tom Sartain and Rev.

Kevin Wisecarver officiating. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday (6/1/18) at McKinney Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes, P.O. Box 2206 Brentwood, TN.
